Real Madrid Dominate UEFA’s Champions League Squad Of The Season

Real Madrid’s retention of the Champions League has been reflected in Zinedine Zidane’s side having a heavy presence in UEFA’s official squad of the season.
The Spanish champions saw off the threat of Juventus on Saturday night, winning 4-1 in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium to become the first side to retain the trophy in the Champions League era.
Two of the goalscorers on the night, Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo, have been included in the squad, the latter finishing the campaign as the competition’s top scorer (for the fifth season running) while the former has become a key component of Real’s midfield.
in addition to the aforementioned duo, defenders Sergio Ramos, Dani Carvajal and Marcelo all make the cut, as do midfielders Toni Kroos, Isco and Luka Modric to bring the total number of Real players named to eight.
From beaten finalists Juve, Gianluigi Buffon is joined by Leonardo Bonucci and Miralem Pjanic, with semi-finalists Atletico Madrid and Monaco represented by Jan Oblak, Antoine Griezmann, Diego Godin, Kylian Mbappe and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
