Cristiano Ronaldo confirmed as the father of twins
The twins have arrived!
In March 2017, The Sun newspaper reported that Cristiano Ronaldo was expecting twins.
Since that time, Ronaldo’s professional life has gone from strength to strength as he has won La Liga and the Champions League.
Ronaldo scored two more goals for Portugal v Latvia on Friday night. He looks set to win the Ballon d’Or for a fifth time and is also on the cover of FIFA 18.
When the initial story about Ronaldo expecting twins arrived, there was no confirmation of when they would be born, via a surrogate mother.
SIC confirm arrival of Eva & Mateo
On Saturday evening, Portuguese television network SIC have confirmed the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo’s twins, a boy and a girl.
They have been named as Eva and Mateo having been born on Thursday in the West Coast of the United States.
It is not clear whether Cristiano Ronaldo has met his two new children yet.
As it stands there has been no confirmation from any of Cristiano Ronaldo’s massive social media accounts to confirm the birth of his twins.
Cristiano Junior has two siblings
According to many reports over the past few months, Ronaldo and his family held back the news on the twins from public consumption to protect Cristiano Junior.
Ronaldo’s son has been impressing with his football skills in recent weeks. Cristiano has posted three clips on Instagram which have garnered massive views.
Georgina Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, is expected to help bring up the twins, alongside the Real Madrid attacker’s mother: Dolores Aveiro.
There have also been reports in recent weeks that Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant – again, these have not been confirmed by anyone close to the Ronaldo family.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to play for Portugal at the Confederations Cup which starts in mid-June.
Portugal face Mexico, Russia and New Zealand.
